Smokin' Martini Guests, Supporters, and Members:

Somewhat surprisingly and quickly, the time has come to say "Good Bye" to all of you. As many of you know, the building that The Smokin' Martini is located in (Riverside Plaza) has most recently undergone a foreclosure, with the title finally being transferred to the new owners this past Wednesday.

In meetings following the transfer of title, we were informed that the new owners do not care for The Smokin' Martini to remain a tenant at Riverside Plaza. Rather than following eviction procedures and allowing us to wrap up our operations properly, the new owners opted for the filing of a "writ of possession" notice, in order to make us vacate the premises immediately.

This notice was posted on the doors of The Smokin' Martini at 9:00 am this morning, and we are herewith officially out of business. I wanted to take this opportunity to apologize for this very short notice, and for any inconvenience this may have caused you. I also wanted to thank each and every one of you for your support over the last two years, and hope you have enjoyed the food and entertainment we have provided.
